Base fee:
  • Registration for selected Camp Staff of DBCTX
  • DeafBlind adult invited to camp to mentor teenagers, sharing experiences and skills.
  • Applicant
    – 14 to 22 years old and enrolled in high school or post-secondary school
    – Has a combined hearing and vision loss
    – Able to make independent decisions
    - Open Case with TWC
  • Applicant - applying as Interpreter, SSP/CN or another volunteer role, please complete this registration.

Interpreters & Volunteers please register as a volunteer! CN training is provided.
* JUNE 3RD is reserved for SSP/CN training!

Volunteer Info:

6.0 CEUs (RID PPO & BEI Ethics, pending) awarded for those who attend the duration of Camp, June 3-9th. No payment required.

Volunteers will develop skills for working with DeafBlind Youth through direct training and mentorship. 

The training is presented in a mix of PTL, ASL and English by the team of DBCTX trainers, hosted by Heather Pavey, Director of Access. Accommodations provided.
